10: Council on Foreign Relations Back-to-School Event on Friday, October 10, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., at CFR’s New York headquarters, 58 East 68th Street. The 2014 Event will focus on the Sunni-Shia sectarian rift, featuring a presentation of CFR’s most recent InfoGuide “The Sunni-Shia Divide,” and a panel discussion with Deborah Amos, foreign correspondent at National Public Radio, Vali R. Nasr, dean of the Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and CFR.org editor Robert McMahon. A networking reception where students can speak with department representatives and hear about career and internship opportunities at CFR will follow. Light refreshments will be served.
